Photo Challenge #5 - Bath Presbyterian Cemetery in Richmond County

John Trowbridge, who had migrated from Massachusetts, and is buried in the church cemetery was a well-known architect of the time. Not only did he build the church and probably most of the buildings in the Bath community but he also built the historic Columbia County Courthouse in Appling, Georgia in 1856.
