The Jewell House in Jewell

It was built in 1895 by Daniel Jewell for his daughter Harriette. The man the town is named after had a very successful cotton mill. His daughter's married name was Cody and for a long time it was named the Cody House and she was the longest resident of the home. It has been known as other names and today is a wedding venue.
