This tree was planted long ago by my great grandparents in Appling County. It has overlooked many family occasions. Many of the older pecan trees have been lost to wind and age. I thought it was beautiful with all the snow on it. This old building holds the original well on this property. Complete with the pulley and bucket on a chain.
