Circa 1900. This was originally a post office and general store and later became an apiary. It's known locally as "the bee house" and is probably one of the most photographed buildings in Wayne County. We limit the posting of this building because it has been shared on the page so many times and because someone usually asks.....a·pi·ar·y (ā′pē-ĕr′ē)
n. pl. a·pi·ar·ies
A place where bees and beehives are kept, especially a place where bees are raised for their honey.
