The little community of Edwin was named that for a local store owner when a man named N.O. "Nat Arnold" Came to town bought the store and renamed it Arnoldsville sometime in the late 1880's. He also started a saw mill and cotton gin, The remains of the building here is known as "Nat Arnolds Store" but also lilkely was the gin and or saw mill.
