Antioch Baptist Church in Taliaferro County

This is one of Georgia’s most photographed churches, even though it is in the middle of nowhere in Taliaferro County. The African-American congregation formed in 1886 and Antioch Baptist Church was built in 1889. The structure was rebuilt in 1923 after a fire.
