House in Waresboro

It was built in 1902 by Dr. John Middleton Spence. Dr. Spence had a lot of land here and in 1900 went to Galveston Texas to assist after amajor hurricane hit. He found a house among the ruins and racked down the builder to get him to come to Georgia and build this house. A relative of his owns the home now and has restored it to it's former glory.
