Fair Haven Methodist Church near Birdsville

It was organized by the 4 Jones Brothers sometime after 1785. Their father, Henry Philip Jones, founded Birdsville Plantation. Birdsville was given a Post Office in 1813. The first church was built around 1857 and this is the 3rd church on the site. The records do not indicate when it was built but it shows up on the Midville circuit in 1919 so it was likely built earlier, probably before the First World War.
