I was surprised to see this while attending the peach festival (held every May) in Morven in Brooks County; The old train station, one of the few reminders of a time when the railroad was the most popular method of transportation in the area, recently burned to the ground, along with the building next to it that housed an old fire truck. The train station was still in decent condition at the time of the fire! This particular line provided passenger rail service between Adel, Georgia & Perry Florida. I had captured photos long before the fire, so I wanted to post some photos of what it looked like before the fire. By the looks of it, the firetruck did survive!
