This old Cherokee County home was likely built in the late 1800s by William Pinckney Goss and Amy Earney Goss. William Pinckney died in 1961 and Amy died in 1968. They both are buried at the Big Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cherokee County. It is believed that William and Amy inherited the land where they built this home from her parents, William Newton Earney (Earney Road namesake) and Julie Dorris (Dorris Road namesake)
Charlie Sewell.
