July 1952. Part of the Comstock Collection. Love the car in front! In my initial post with y'all I explained how my father-in-law Dr George W Comstock photographed every courthouse in Georgia between 1947 and 1954. He was with the Public Health Service and in charge of the tuberculosis eradication in Muscogee County/Russell County AL during that time. His total collection resides with the Atlanta Historical Society. We found some of these extra photos with his things up in Maryland. BTW. Google him and history at Johns Hopkins University if you want to know more about him. Quite impressive.
