Antioch Baptist Church in Taliaferro County

It was organized in 1886 by the families of ex-slaves. They wanted to celebrate their freedom and future so they built quite an ornate church by rural standards. The church was dedicated in 1899. Now unused or at least mostly unused, the church sits slowly decaying.
