Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Washington County

It was established in 1867 soon after the Civil War by farmers and local citizens as it was a fair distance to the next closest church. There is not really anything on the history. The entrance used to be 2 separate doors, one for men and one for women. The single covered entrance came later.
