The only surviving South Georgia Railway Depot built in 1897, now sits derelict in Brooks County The South Georgia Railway was incorporated in 1896. The SG ran from Sparks, GA to Perry, FL , where it interchanged with the Live Oak, Perry & Gulf Railroad, and the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. Later it was purchased (along with the LOP&G) by the Southern Railway, and merged with the LOP&G. The line is now operated by the Georgia, Florida Railway.
