Jones Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church South in Coweta County

It had its beginnings as Concord Meeting House. The original trustees included a Revolutionary War Veteran John Redwine. Around 1835, the church was moved a few miles south on land deeded by William Sampler. It is not known why it was moved. That land was reclaimed in 1854 for some reason and the church moved again to land deeded by Lewis Redwine. Then in 1868, it appears this congregation merged with one called Ballards Church and new land was deeded in the present location for a Methodist Episcopal Church. A wooden church was constructed and remained until the present church was completed in 1921. At some point relatively recently Jones Chapel changed its name or sold the building to Faith Creek United Methodist Church.
