Cataula Methodist Church

Cataula Methodist Church was established in 1829 as Clowers Methodist for a founding member. The first church was a log cabin and the first pastor was Rev. Andrew Hamlin. The log church was replaced with a frame structure in 1834 but only lasted until replaced by the current structure in 1857. The church was renamed Cataula in the 1880's. It is pretty much in it's original appearance except for the small porch, ramp and stained glass windows.
