Ebenezer United Methodist

It was established around 1820, right after Habersham County was established. A small church was built on the estate of a Mr. Mathews in what is now the unincorporated community of Hollywood. The date the church was built has not been definitively established but tradition said it was built at the time the church was established. It served the community well until land was purchased directly across the road in 1892 and the current church finished in 1894. In 1927, the building was moved back as the road became US441 and was paved. Over the years additions have been built but the original structure of the church is still intact and is still very active.
