You can see the old summer kitchen attached to the back of the house. The summer kitchen was used during the summer months to keep the heat out of the main part of the house. These kitchens usually had a breezeway in-between kitchen and house. During the winter months, the cooking stove would be moved into the main part of the house to help in heating the house as well as for cooking. Located in Norwood.
