The Carrollton Railroad Station
It was constructed around 1875. The Central of Georgia predecessors had arrived the year before and business was booming. It was unusual for a sizable brick depot to be constructed in small town America until after business had proven the need. The original construction is the passenger portion in front. Business was so good the railroad built a 171 freight addition around 1881. The depot has been restored and is an event facility. Andy Sarge
