Whitesburg United Methodist Church

It was established in 1887 and the current property was purchased. Since the arrival of the railroad, the town had grown quite a bit and a wooden church was built. That church burned in 1912 and the next year a new brick structure was constructed. This structure lasted until the current structure replaced it in 1950. The church membership has shrunk a bit but is still very active.
