Sweetwater Baptist Church in Dawson County

It was established in 1870. There are no surviving records from 1870-1881 so it is not known where services were held. In 1881 land for the current church was purchased, and by 1883 a small wooden church was constructed. The current sanctuary replaced it by 1905 with additional Sunday School rooms added later.
