Victorian Home in Brunswick

Constructed in 1900, this late-Victorian home in Brunswick's Old Town Historic District  is a design by George Franklin Barber. Barber, an architect based in Knoxville, published a prolific number of house designs via mail order magazines. This particular house is based on Design No. 7 of his Modern Dwellings and Their Proper Construction.
The house sits on a full city lot. The exterior retains Barber's characteristic emphasis on prominent brick chimneys, dormers, and ornamentation even though the original interior floor plan has been significantly altered over the years.
