Carters Grove Baptist Church in Taliaferro County

It was established in 1878 by some families who wanted to worship closer to their farms than the churches they were then attending. A small frame church was constructed at that time. The current church replaced it around 1905. The church has been renovated and a Sunday School added at some point.
