Long Gone in Forsyth County

I took these photos in 2006, and moved away from Georgia in 2010. Looking at current Google Maps images, this beautiful old structure near the intersection of Parks Rd. and Burruss Mill Rd. in Forsyth County is long gone. The original log structure had been added onto at some point in the 18th century, with a frame addition on the south end, and there was an old iron wagon wheel being enveloped by two growing trees. The last time I saw it, there was a palmetto tree growing out of the stone chimney.
