Talking Rock Baptist Church

 It was established in 1839 shortly after the first settlers arrived in Pickens County. It is likely the first church in the county. The first structure was a log church built on the land deeded by James Morrison. I have not established the date of the current structure but it is well over 100 years old and is still active.
