Conyers, Rockdale County.
The Philadelphia UMC was founded in 1837 and is situated on the old Etowah [Hightower] trail. The graveyard covers this time period too, with hundreds of marked and unmarked grave sites, making it a great place to do some ancestry research.
The church is still active and has had renovations and upkeep, so not entirely "forgotten", but has kept its historical feel intact.
