The Sleighter House

It was originally built in 1827, likely in the Plantation Plaine style. In 1857, it was remodeled and became the Washington Female Academy. When the city school was built it was moved to the corner of the lot and became the residence of the Gaines family. Lately it has been a B&B but I don't know if it still is.
