Caboose

This Southern Railroad Caboose currently sits at the Warner Robins welcome center in Houston County. It was built in 1971 and it represents a past way of life. In 2000, it was donated to the City of Warner Robins and placed next to a 1940s railroad depot building. This particular type of caboose is also known as a “Bay Window” caboose. Each side of the railroad car has a big bay window that allows for clear viewing from either side.
