Bethel Methodist Church in the Community of Brookton

It was established in 1884. They first worshiped in a log schoolhouse about a mile and half from the current site. In February 1888 two acres was purchased for the current church and first services were in November 1888. The church was made from wood cut on the first steam powered saw mill in the area.
