The Walker-Breedlove-Scott-Tate House in Milledgeville
Sorry for all the wires across this one. Built in 1838 as a two story house, the third story and Victorian details added during an 1886 renovation. The first owner was Sam Walker who had been called the "meanest man in Georgia". His son Joe returned from Mercer College with Typhoid but his father dismissed it as a character flaw. Three days later Joe fell down the stairs and died and within a week the illness woud take Walker's wife and niece also. The house is now haunted by the ghosts of all three as the legend says. It is now an apartment building.
