Atlantic Southeast Airlines Flight 529

On August 21,1995 while on a flight from Atlanta to Biloxi, Atantic Southeast Airlines Flight 529 crashed in a field in the Burwell Community near Carrollton GA (Carroll County). There were 10 fatalities including one who died 4 months after the crash. The people of the Burwell Community errected this monument behind the Shiloh United Methodist Church..
