The Shiloh Bridge

This bridge is located on a walking track (over a drainage ditch) behind the Shiloh United Methodist Church in the Burwell Community near Carrollton Ga. It's included on most of the lists of covered bridges in the state.
Although it's a fairly new bridge (built in 1994) it follows the Town Lattice design and was built of timbers from another old bridge that was nearby. The bridge is 42 feet long. This is probably one of the least visited covered bridges in Georgia but it's in a beautiful spot and worth a visit. Great place for a picnic. The bridge is in the same location as the memorial in the next post.
