On HWY 301 in Wayne County. I might have miss-identified this as a Horne's. The Horne's restaurants were scattered about the south in the 50s and 60s but started dying down in the 70s. They had yellow roofs like this one to be easily recognized. From reading online it sounds like they had a circus like theme. I've never been in one (being more of the baloney sandwich at a roadside table type). Do you have any memories of stopping at a Horne's Restaurant or do you know if this was ever actually a Horne's?
