Built in the Romanesque Revival style, the Historic Union County Courthouse was completed in 1899 by Architect-James w. Golucke. Building contractor was M.B. Mcginty. The courthouse is home to the Union County Historical Society and hosts a variety of events including Friday Night Concerts, a genealogy room and a museum.
