This is the old bridge over the Withlacoochee River at the Brooks/Lowndes County line .... it was built in 1920/1921. It was the old Quitman Highway and known as Blue Springs Road. The bridge is 434.5' in length and replaced a 1915 wood trestle bridge that was just to the south of it.
