Eatonton Presbyterian Church

In 1818, the Baptists, Christians, Methodists, Presbyterians and the Masonic Lodge of Eatonton joined together to build the Union Church on land donated by resident James Shackleford. The land was to be used for a church, new church street and a cemetery. They used it on rotating Sundays. The Methodists built their own church in 1857 and the Baptists in 1897. The Presbyterians obtained the land to build their own church which is used today. Eatonton Presbyterian Church was dedicated in 1902. The Callaway Fellowship Hall on the left was added in 1992.
