"Possum Trot Church"

Was the very first church located on the campus at Berry College and was established by Martha Berry of Rome in Floyd County.
With an estimated build date of 1850's this structure has high historical value not only to the college but to the state of Georgia as well. Used as a school as well as a church, this is one of the first buildings Martha Berry used to follow her life passion, helping educate children in the local area, and was the start of what Berry College has become today.
