Old School

The old Eastanollee High School, and later Eastanollee Elementary in Stephens County. The school system shut the old school down when it moved to a new building (now closed and Eastanollee school no longer exists). These photos were taken in 2011, days before the bulldozer destroyed any trace of the old section. The gym is all that remains and is on the National Register but is on the brink of collapse. I was a former student and was heartbroken at the destruction of the old school site and the elimination of Eastanollee in any form from the school system.
