Whitesville Methodist Church
It was founded in 1828 about the time the town was founded as a main stop on the stagecoach route between Columbus and Rome and points north. The Town has mostly disappeared but the church remains with the current structure having been built in 1854. Andy Sarge
The Whitesville Methodist Church has a prolonged connection to my maternal (Daniel) and paternal (Cotton) family, some of whom are buried the the surrounding cemetery. William R. Cotton
