Spring Industries

The old main office building for Springs Industries (formerly Dundee Mills, and Kincaid Mills before that). It was built in 1977 after the old office building burned down. This is just about all that remains of all the Springs Mills in Griffin . Most of the mills have been torn down. The textile industry in the US couldn’t compete with overseas competition and most companies went out of business, or, as in the case of Springs, was bought by an overseas company. I worked here from 03-05, sad to see it all gone now.
